Temblor is felt in capital, although there are no initial reports of damages

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake shake hit Guatemala's Pacific coast near the border with El Salvador on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

It said the quake, 64.2 miles deep, was centered 60 miles southeast of Guatemala City.

According to the USGS Community Internet Intensity Map, which recorded 97 responses, the quake had moderate shaking with very light damage.

The temblor was strongly felt in the capital, according to Spanish-language network Telemundo, although there were no initial reports of damages or casualties.

UPDATE: I called family that live close to the border with El Salvador, and they said. "¿Cual terremoto?  ¿El de Haiti?" so they only felt a little shake.
